Workshops making tables for Hackney Harvest
Thanks to everyone who took part and a brilliant workshop from RARA, 10 tables and 20 benches for Hackney Harvest feast were built.
The workshops took place in St Johns churchyard gardens next to Narrow Way.
Wood for tables and benches
The tables and benches were made out of wood reused from RARA’s previous commission for the architecture practice Scout http://scout-ltd.com/southbank/
These structures were information and meeting points as part of the Festival of Neighbourhood on the Southbank over the summer of 2013.
Below is a picture of them outside RARA’s studio awaiting their next transformation!
